『「親父の背中」プログラム by 島根県益田市医師会 募集開始！』
今回、新たに「親父の背中」プログラムの参加者募集を開始しました！
島根県西部に位置する益田市医師会の先生たちが立ち上がった―。深刻な医師不足を目の前に、若手医師が来てくれるような工夫をしなければならないと、新たな離島・へき地医療の教育プログラムを展開しているゲネプロの齋藤学先生とタッグを組み、「父親の背中」プログラムを始めます。

本プログラムは、下記のようにお考えの方に適した内容となります。
- 診療の幅を広げたい
- 弱点を強化したい
- 開業医を目指したい
- 山陰地方出身
- 田舎が好き
プログラムの基本的な構成についてですが、午前中は主に開業医の先生（※選択可能）の下で学び、午後からは、医師会病院にて総合内科の入院診療を担当します。
また、本プログラムを通じて研修可能となる開業医の主な科目は、以下の通りです。
- 整形外科
- 耳鼻科
- 皮膚科
- 小児科
- 泌尿器科
- 内視鏡
- リハビリ
- 在宅医療
- へき地診療所の代診
- その他

We have started to recruit the registrars for our “Daddy’s Back” program collaborated with the medical association of Masuda-city, Shimane Prefecture!
This program had been created in order to solve a serious problem in the city: a chronic shortage of doctors.
So, through this program, the registrars could learn various subjects from both skilled clinic doctors and practitioners.
The main subjects you could learn are following:
- orthopedics
- otolaryngology
- dermatology
- pediatrics
- endoscope
- rehabilitation medicine
- home medical care
- and so on
In addition to the above, you can actually examine and treat patients as a locum doctor at the local rural clinics.
The Daddy’s Back program is to be offered as a two-year program in Shimane Prefecture from next April.
I hope this new initiative would be one of the solutions for an universal problem in the current rural and remote medicine, indeed!
