『“外科系地域医療” というカテゴリー ―”Rural GP Surgeon”―』
「医師不足の離島」と「お世話になった地元」の両方で戦える医師になりたくて、ゲネプロを起業した。
その根底となった地元の病院の1つが、ここ匝瑳市民病院です。自分がなりたかった医師像が、ここにありました。
15年ぶりに訪れましたが、当時の良い雰囲気は変わっておらず、内科も外科も常に総力戦。美味しい食堂の多古米も健在です。
外科の院長が病院全体を牽引しており、診断から手術、在宅緩和ケアまでも行う “外科系地域医療” の実践病院です。
プログラムになるか否か。院長と模索してみます。
Once I decided to found Genepro in order to be a doctor, who can help and support people both in “remote islands where have been suffering a chronic shortage of doctors” and “home town to which I have been feeling affection and obligation”.
This time, I visited Sosa Shimin Hospital, in Chiba prefecture, for the first time in 15 years.
The director has been a powerful engine for the hospital. So, they always offer people various medical services from diagnosis and surgery to “at-home palliative care”.
Actually, the hospital is one of the important place for me; because both the doctors and systems of the hospital have remained the imitable and respectable role models for me.
Soon, I am to consult with the hospital director about whether or how we can cooperate in our “RGPJ”!
