多岐にわたる診療科の垣根を越えてお招きした経験豊富な専門医を講師に、「総合診療医」として働く上での武器となる知識や手技について学ぶためのウェビナー『Rural Skills』。

 

今回のセッションでは、『Rural Generalist Program Japan（RGPJ）』の第１期生であり、現在は千葉県勝浦市にある塩田病院にて総合診療部長を務めておられる青木 信也先生による特別講演が行われることとなりました。

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

講演のメインテーマは『総合診療医としてのビジョン』について。

 

時が立つのは本当に早いもので、およそ１年間にわたる研修プログラムの修了もいよいよ目前へと迫りつつありますが、このタイミングだからこそ改めて意識しておきたい「医師としての将来的なビジョンの確立」や「その実現に向けた取り組み方」に関するお話となりました。

 

 

 

 

かつて同じく「総合診療」への志を抱き、同じく努力と苦労の末に「RGPJ」を修め、研修生方にとっては真の意味で“先輩”と言える青木先生。

 

ゲネプロを卒業してから既にいくつかのビジョンを達成する中で、同じ「総合診療」を志す後進の育成や支援にとりわけ力を入れておられるようで、現在は「新しい研修プログラムの開発・提供」という最大の目標に向けて邁進されているそうです。

 

 

そんな青木先生からは今回、「一人ひとり研修の中で得たものは違って当たり前」とした上で、ご自身の実体験を一つのモデルケースとして紹介しつつ、研修生へと実践的な助言や示唆がなされることとなりました。

 

 

 

 

『皆さんが無理をしたり、家族を犠牲にしたりしてまで『医療を担保する』必要はないと思います。皆さんがHappyになれる環境を整えた上で、できれば離島やへき地で頑張ってもらえたら嬉しいです』。

 

 

 

 

講演の最後を飾る言葉として研修生へと贈られた激励は、これまで国内外を問わず様々な離島・へき地における医療の“現実”を見てきた青木先生ならではの思いやりに満ちたものに。

 

「RGPJ」に参加した時点で間違いなく“マイノリティ”であり、そうであるが故に『ゲネプロを通じて得られた仲間との出会いは宝』だとにこやかに語る青木先生の言葉とともに、今回の講演は締め括られることとなりました。

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Rural Skills is a webinar series featuring experienced specialists from a wide range of medical specialties to teach you the knowledge and techniques that will be useful when working as a GP.

 

This session will feature a special lecture by Dr. Shinya Aoki, a graduate of the Rural Generalist Program Japan (RGPJ), who is currently the Director of General Medicine at Shiota Hospital in Katsuura, Chiba Prefecture.

 

 

 

By the way, the main theme of the session was about “futuristic visions as GPs”.

 

Time flies and the registrars will be about to successfully complete the RGPJ in the next month. Then, Dr. Aoki focused on the future path after graduating RGPJ and how to reach self-fulfillment as a doctor.

 

With great pleasure, Dr. Aoki had already made some of his visions a reality after he had completed the RGPJ. He has recently tackled with development and offer of new original training program for doctors who would like to learn general practice, according to him.

 

In the lecture, he gave lots of tips and advices based on his real experiences to the registrars, quoting his backgrounds as just one of model cases.

 

 

 

 

“I think you don’t have to secure the medicine in local society even sacrificing yourself and your family either. Thus, I hope you tackle with the medical care in rural and remote areas after you solidly developed the environment where you could work very happily”, he said at the end of the session.

 

 

Thanks to his yell with full of consideration and encouragement toward the registrars, the lecture ended in a very comfortable atmosphere.
