『ギャップを埋める作業 ―Bridging The Gap―』
私の母校でもある順天堂大学の大学院にて、医学教育課程の一環として「RGPJ」の評価研究が行われることとなりました。
指導教授の武田裕子先生は、アメリカとイギリスの両国で地域医療を学び、教え、研究された実績を持つ経験豊かな方です。

これから私もRGPJの研修生と肩を並べ、離島へき地のフィールドワークに精を出したいと思います！
ですが、まずは離島へき地プログラムについて評価した論文や文献を、世界中から搔き集めて総ざらいすることからスタート。千里の道を踏破するための、第一歩です。
そして、今年から研究生になる孫さんは、私とは同期にあたる方で「医師として様々な国に赴任する際に、異文化に溶け込める人とそうでない人との違い」を学術的に研究されています。
彼女らを筆頭とする素晴らしいアカデミックなパートナーの力を借りて、これから様々な研究を政策や臨床に繋げるとともに、色々な情報を発信して行きたいと思っています。
Genepro has made a new partnership with the graduate school of Juntendo University, my alma mater in Japan.
As a part of the curriculum, the evaluation study on our Rural Generalist Program Japan (RGPJ) is to be begun soon.
The regents professor is Prof. Yuko Takeda, who had studied and taught about community healthcare both in the US and UK.
In addition to her support, we fortunately gain the cooperation of Ms. Son; she had academically studied in the US about “the differences between those who can blend into different cultures and those who can’t, when they work as a doctor in foreign countries”.
With encouraging supports including them, I would like to bridge the gap between researches and policies or practices, proactively.
From now on, I will apply myself closely to the field work with RGPJ registrars in rural and remote areas all over the world.
At the very beginning, however, we are to start with “Literature Review” in the laboratory!
