『ジェームズクック大学の非常勤上級講師に就任しました ―Adjunct Senior Lecturer of JCU―』
この度、オーストラリアのクイーンズランド州タウンズビルにあるジェームズクック大学の非常勤上級講師（Adjunct Senior Lecturer）として勤めることとなりました。
医学部長のリチャード・マレー教授、および「へき地医療教育学」のタルン・セン・グプタ教授の両名が私を推薦してくださいました。期間は、2017年8月1日から2019年8月1日までの2年間となります。
なお、ジェームズクック大学は、南半球におけるへき地医療と熱帯医学の分野をリードする大学であり、私は主に医学生のメンターとして彼らの指導にあたることになります。
推薦していただけたことはもちろん、こうして非常勤上級講師として招き入れていただいたことで、へき地医療や公衆衛生、熱帯医学の分野に関して同大学との共同研究が行いやすくなったことも、嬉しい限りです。
今後は、日本からも積極的に研究を発信していきたいと思います。興味のある方は、是非一緒に勉強しましょう。
This time, I have officially been inaugurated as a Adjunct Senior Lecturer of the James Cook University (JCU) in Australia, receiving an endorsement from Prof. Richard Murray and Prof. Tarun Sen Gupta.
Prof. Murray is the dean of the medical department, and Prof. Gupta teaches about education on rural medicine at the university.
Fortunately, JCU has been the university that leads the world in the field of rural medicine and tropical medicine.
I would like to undertake joint studies on rural medicine, public health and tropical medicine with them and proactively communicate the study outcome to the world from Japan!
