『クリニカル・ビジット 2019 益田編 ―Clinical Visit 2019 at Masuda―』
今回、ワークショップに参加するべく益田地域医療センター病院を訪れることになった折角の機会を活用して、同病院へのクリニカルビジットも実施してまいりました。
同病院では、ゲネプロの研修医として松原 秀紀 先生が日々、多忙な日常診療をこなしながら研修に励まれています。
今回のクリニカルビジットでは、山口先生による指導の下、松原先生がここ最近に遭遇した症例の検討会が開催され、二人の間では活発な議論と意見の交換が交わされました。
なお、同病院における松原先生の研修は二年目に突入して既に久しく、一年間の研修を前半と後半の二期に分けて考えるとしたら、来月から松原先生はいよいよ「四期目」を迎えることとなります。
敢えて各期に対して研修期間における立ち位置を見出すとすれば、一期目は「病院に慣れるための期間」、二期目は「同病院での研修における特徴である開業医の下での研修期間」、三期目は「さらにその内容を充実させる期間」だと言えるでしょう。
その上で今回、「ついに四期目を迎えるにあたり、来る四期目に対して何か思うところや目標などはありますか」と松原先生にお尋ねしてみたところ、何とも松原先生らしい真っすぐな答えが返ってくることとなりました。
研修における最終期となる四期目を「恩返しをする期間」だと語る松原先生の顔には、既に一年半以上もの間、研修では厳しくも優しい “親父” たちに揉まれながら日々の激務を乗り越えてきた自負と自信、そして病院への愛着のような想いが見て取れました。
益田地域医療センター病院で過ごす残りの研修期間においても、きっとこれまでと同じか、あるいはもっと多くの困難や問題が立ち塞がることになるかもしれませんが、松原先生ならきっとこれまでのように乗り越えられることでしょう。
あまり気負った様子もなく語る先生の姿に、そう素直に信じることのできた今回のクリニカルビジットでした。
In the last Weekend, we called on Dr. Matsubara, one of the RGPJ registrars and who had been working at the Masuda Medical Association Hospital for over one and a half years, as a part of regular clinical visits.
At this visit, Dr. Matsubara and Dr. Yamaguchi, the chief mentor of the Genepro as well as RGPJ, carried out the case study under the theme of the cases that Dr. Matsubara had really faced with in the recent daily exams at the hospital.
There, they both exchanged the opinions, shared the findings and developed the knowledge each other. Finally, they had exhaustive discussion, so it seemed that they spent meaningful time.
By the way, we asked Dr. Matsubara a question at the end of the clinical visit: How do you consider the remainder of the training program at the Masuda Medical Association Hoslpital?
Then, he said; I think it should be the period for returning a favor to the everyone who had been giving me a supports at the hospital.
Actually, he looked he has been able to live fulfilling days now and had been developing his confidence through the training programs, when he answered the question from us.
We sincerely hope that he will be able to grab as many opportunities for professional growth as possible before he eventually finish the programs.
