先日、二日間の日程を組み、米原先生が研修されている匝瑳市民病院（千葉県匝瑳市）と、湊先生の研修されている島田総合病院（千葉県銚子市）を訪問してまいりました。

 

 

残念ながら今回の「クリニカル・ビジット」では、米原先生が急性扁桃炎で早退されていたため、実際に診療されている姿を拝見することは叶いませんでした。

 

しかしながら、指導医の先生はじめスタッフの皆さんからの評価は総じて高く、米原先生が順調に研修のスタートを切れていることを確認できて、ほっと一安心。匝瑳市民病院での研修の様子については、また次回訪問した際にご報告できればと思います。

 

 

また、実に喜ばしいことに、島田総合病院にて研修に励まれている湊先生も、とても順調な滑り出しを見せておられました。

「本当にまだ数ヶ月間しかこの病院で働いていないのか？」と思わされるほど病院に溶け込んでおられ、スタッフの皆さんから寄せられる信頼も厚かったです。

 

 

湊先生は、整形外科の専門医として活躍されてきましたが、島田総合病院においては内科外来、上部消化管内視鏡、お産に加え、外科や産婦人科、および血管外科の手術など、幅広く担当されています。

 

 

「この病院で出来ることは何でもやる」という意気込みで日々の業務に臨まれている湊先生は、「まだお役に立てているとは思えません」という謙虚な姿勢は崩さず、しかしとても貪欲に研修に取り組まれておりました。

 

今後の更なるご活躍を楽しみにさせていただきたいと思います。

 

 

 

 

 

We went on a clinical visit to Sosa Municipal Hospital and Shimada General Hospital both located in Chiba, the other day.

 

 

Unfortunately, Dr. Yonehara, one of RGPJ registrars, had caught acute tonsillitis and gotten off work early at that time, so we were not able to watch he was working at the Sosa Municipal Hospital.

 

On the other hand, we fortunately are to visit him again in the near future. So, we will give a good report of him then.

 

 

 

On the one hand, we were able to watch Dr. Minato, another RGPJ registrar, was working at the Shimada General Hospital.

 

She had been working at the hospital so energetically and trying to do everything within the power through the daily tasks.

 

 

All her perpetual effort have fully led to trust and confidence for Dr. Minato from many of hospital staffs. We were really relieved and felt proud of her through this clinical visit.

 

 

 

We are going to release reports on our registrars in the RGPJ training program. So, I would really appreciate it if you could keep on paying attention to us.
